7/3/08 - CSU's High Caliber Throwing Program prides itself on tradition. Head Coach Brian Bedard, 2008 MWC coach of the year and CSU Hall of Honor inductee, has coached 48 conference champions, 32 All-Americans, and two national champions.  The rest of the story here.

2/03/09 - The Rams had some PR throws at the AFA meet on Saturday.  Alex Godell hit a 65'5" throw in the weight for a life time best.  Missy Faubus also hit a PR in the weight throw going over 55'.  Ian Lettow seems to be getting his technique together with his 54' shot throw..
3/03/09 - The Rams had 3 athletes hit the NCAA provisional qualifying standard this indoor season.  Jennifer Ugochukwu 49'11.75" shot, Missy Faubus 50'8" shot, and Alex Godell 67' 9" weight throw.
5/18/09 - 12 Rams have received All-Conference Honors, following the completion of the Mountain West Conference Championships, including Alex Godell (hammer), Ian Lettow (shot put), Meagan Berg (shot put), and Missy Faubus (shot put & discus).

Alex Godell also took home his 3rd consecutive MWC Title in the hammer throw, while Missy Faubus won the discus and took 3rd in the shot put.
