The leading galactic superpower, the
United Federation of Planets maintains the largest standing
fleet in the Alpha Quadrant, it's ranks filled with ships old
and new.
Federation Starship Design has
evolved from the Daedalus and a basic Federation
Starship would consist of a primary hull saucer connected to a
secondary stardrive section by a small connecting dorsal/neck
section. Jutting out from the secondary hull, behind the
ship would be the two warp drive nacelles.
Federation Starship Building is an
exercise in skill, a work of art. Starfleet ships tend to be
faster, more agile and far more flexible than their
competitors.
All Starships Can be Classified into
5 Basic Categories; Destroyers, Frigates, Cruisers,
Dreadnoughts and Battleships. You will find each section
accessable by the menu bar at the upper right, in addition a
special page explaining Spacecraft Classifications and
Engineering is also present.
