They were on a new field, one they had not used before. The field they usually use was so torn up it was unusable. DV has talked about how poor the fields are before. They like the facility, how compact it is for the players and staff, but the fields are really not to DV's liking.
Farr participated in individual drills, not any contact or 7 on 7 drills. It has been 20 days since his injury. Jay williams will be back in 1-2 weeks.
It is 1 month today til the opening game!
Galen Hyden is making a move in camp and is one to watch closely. He came from out of nowhere.

TE Roland Williams missed practice today to go to the dentist! He has braces on his teeth, and they pushed up into his lip and it wasn't sure if they had slipped or not. (Remember he had blue and gold rubber bands put on in the second mini camp!)
Play of the day- Torry "The Bolt" Holt flying down the feld, Dre Bly covering him all the way down like a blanket, hit him at the time of reception, and he still made the catch---despite having his pants come down when he got hit!
June Henley---boot came off his injured foot as he recovers from turf toe, he'll be back in 1w-10d.
Nutten is in a battle with Spikes. May share time at that position when the season begins. Spikes is walking around, no limp.
Adam Timmerman had to have his leg drained due to an infection. Did not practice today. McCollum played RG for him.
