Zgonina is limping real bad.  JT says it's a minor sprain, but it looked worse than that to me judging by how gingerly he's walking on it.  He didn't have a cast or wrap or anything though.

I saw Devin Bush walking around the practice field as well, but I couldn't really tell whether he's even limping at all or not because he struts too much (Yes I'm serious!)... my guess is it's not very bad.

Mac Cody and Tony Small sat out today as well but were out on the field in street clothes.  Whatever it is, didn't appear very serious for either.

Greg Hill didn't participate in drills or practice with the team, but he was working out on the side of the field by himself.  He was running and cutting and working his legs a lot, didn't appear to be favoring the ankle at all.  I expect he'll be back this week.

Holcombe was wearing a sling.

Ernie Conwell was working out HARD on the side field by himself as he has been at all the practices I've been to.  He's really pushing himself-- it's very obvious.  He was jogging and high stepping, doing knee bends and all sorts of stretching... nonstop... no coaches or trainers over there, just obvious DESIRE to play the game.  He probably worked harder than anyone else on the field today and he was all alone.  I hope he doesn't rush it and come back before the knee is ready.  If it is at all physically possible I would expect him back sooner rather than later... and that's very good... because I'm starting to think we need him...

There was one BIG scare on the field in the afternoon when Kevin Carter went down and didn't get up.  EVERYTHING stopped for a few seconds. Ordinarily you can hear four or five coaches yelling, the players yelling, the fans... but you could have heard a pin drop just then. They helped him up and he was limping, but he walked it off. Didn't even miss a play.  He looked good afterwards and I asked him about it on his way to the locker room... he said it was A-OK:)

I also asked Mike Jones about his knee after practice and he said it was getting better all the time.  He participated in full speed action, but only on a limited basis.  Fletcher and Clemons in with the first nickel package.

Oh yeah, I almost forgot Cam Spikes.  He was in street clothes on the field, but walking around very freely.  No sign of a limp or any sort of favoring whatsoever.

Didn't see D'Marco or Jay Williams anywhere, but I did see Amp Lee and he seemed to be getting around pretty well also.
