Go to the Mollala River State Park. Park in the first parking lot. Cross the foot bridge and travel uphill toward the restrooms. Don't go to the restrooms. (Unless, of course, you really do have to. In that case, go ahead, then come back here to start again.) Follow the path westward and past the caretakers barn toward a lily padded pond. Stand for a moment looking at the pond. At the crossroads you can see the pond, the caretakers barn, and a large tree which is prolly by now behind you. The big tree right at that crossroads is important. From that tree, take about 90 paces forward - the pond should stay to your right. On the left is a tree and the box is high in the tree.
