This page is the most important page.  This page deals only with one question, "Where would you go if you died today?"  There are only two possible answers: Heaven or Hell.  The Bible teaches that if you have not accepted Jesus as your Lord and savior then you will go to hell.  The apostle Paul wrote in the book of Romans that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)  He also tells us that death is the price of our sins, "for the wages of sin is death." (Romans 6:23)  If we die in sin then we will go to hell.  What will save you from this condemnation then?  No amount of works will save you from hell, being a good person will not save you, believing that there is a God will not save you.  Titus 3:5 says, "Not by works of rightousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us"
Well what is Hell and why do you not want to go there?  Jesus describes Hell as the place, "Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched." (Mark 9:44, 46, 48)  This is the place that God has set aside for those that do not listen to him, for those that do not accept him.  The Bible says, "He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God." (John 3:18)  The Son of God is Jesus Christ as said many times through out the New Testament but, one of the most convincing times is when this happened, "And unclean spirits, when thy saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God." (Mark 3:11) Even the demons of hell admitted that Jesus was the Son of God.
If you die without Jesus you will go to Hell, so how do you get saved?  Jesus died on the cross for the sins of the world, mine, yours, everyones sins.  The most known verse in the world is John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."  Reading on a little farther shows God's plan, "For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world throught him might be saved." (John 3:17)  The thing to know is that Jesus paid the price of your sins with his blood.  The prophet Isaiah prophesied the coming of Jesus and the death that he would indure for us, "he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." (Isaiah 53:5)  The way that you get saved is to first admit to God that you are a sinner and that you repent of your sins, then you must ask Jesus to come into your heart so that you may be forgiven.  The Bible says, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." (Romans 10:9)  If you have done this go to a local Christian church and talk with the pastor on what you should do next.  If you can't go to church then send me an e-mail at [email protected] so that I may help you.
