6/02-7/02 : Sorry I haven't updated much. Been busy.  So I will give you the run down and put up the pictures.

Over the past month I have taken all the carpet out.
Dash is just a skeleton.
The front windshield is gone.
Gas tank is out.

I will be removing the rear bumper and the rear wiring harness this month along with the headliner and rear side windows.

The car will be soda blasted near the end of August.

I was going to farm out the bodywork but I think I will give it a try.  I am sure I can do a good job with the help of my friends and family.
Make sure when you take things apart that you take notes and mark everything.  Projects like this can take years to complete.
Here is the only MAJOR rust spot.
05/16/03 Well I know it has been along time since I have updated this.  But Real Life has kept me busy.  I have a digital camera now and will be adding more pictures soon.  Now for what I have done in the last 10 months or so.

The car is a shell.  I have the sub-frame off and the rear axle out.  I scrubed the bottom of the car with a scuff pad and some water to clean the 30yr old dirt off.  I also scubbed the the axle and replaced all the seals, bearrings and wheel cyclinders. I decided to use POR-15 as a paint instead of just painting with a rattle can.  Here are some pictures in order
The silver is actually the por with a small filler.  I used a brush to do this.  After the first coat wait until it is almost dry.  Then add the top coat.
