The Week of April 1

April 1: Alison is in the Barrington attic and says to the painting of Rebecca that its impossible that she just saved her life. She says that when her foot was stuck, it wasn't a painting that saved her life it was her- or at least someone that really looked like Rebecca. She was sitting there thinking that she was going to be the 5th chair and she appeared out of nowhere and she saw her and felt her and she was as real as she is. How is that possible? Did Rafe send her? She starts to cry, not understanding what happened in the forest. She says that Rafe told her to be happy and move on, but how is she supposed to? How is she supposed to ever love again? Its impossible! She falls to her knees and says that she misses Rafe so much.

In heaven, Ed welcomes Eve to the 5th chair as the 4 angels watch in disbelief. Rafe tells her that they will help her and asks what the last thing she remembers? Eve reveals that she was driving over a bridge coming back from buying airline tickets. The road was slick and she felt the wheel jerk out of her hands and the next thing she knew she was rolling and spinning. She asks if she is dead. She can't be dead! She saw people trying to get her. Paige explains that she had already left her body. Eve continues, and wonders how the other 4 could be where she is now, if they are alive and well. Rafe explains that they aren't so much alive and well, they are all angels and have been since the start. Amy explains her part in the "Secrets" arc. Eve realizes that in effect, Amy saved Ian's life by making him come to her hotel room. Eve continues, trying to make sense of everything. She is grateful to Amy because Amy saved Ian and kept Danny from being alone. She thanks Amy.

The girl angels talk about their respective journeys and how they got things right. Casey wants a gig like Rafe's. Aside, Rafe thanks Paige for saving Alison. Paige says that it was her journey to find out she was related to Alison and to save her. She understands that Rafe thought Ali was threatened and wanted to protect her. He says that he misses her already, so much. He asks Paige how she can smile again, when she knows that she'll never see the face that lights up her world. Paige tells him she does it by remembering all the days you spent together and the love you shared and one day you'll think of Alison and smile. And you'll be able to let her go. Rafe says that that will never happen.

Back in the attic, Alison says that Rafe knew how special Rebecca was. She lugs over a box and says taht Nana thinks that Rafe just up and left her and that's what everyone else is going to think. But her and Rebecca will know that he was her angel, her love and her hero. Inside the box are more candles with words on the bottom: beauty, comfort, love. She asks if Rebecca made the love candle for her centuries ago? She says that Rafe came back to her once and maybe he can come back again without and rules and they could just be free to love each other. She puts the candle down and lights it.

Ed tells the 3 girls that they fulfilled their destinies and have proven themselves, its time to move on. Eve panics and wants to know what she's supposed to do. Amy offers to show her the way and to not be afraid. They head through a door with last glances toward Rafe and Ed who offer encouraging smiles. Alone with Ed, Rafe says that he and Ali didn't have enough time to share a proper goodbye. Ed tells him that he did warn him, but Rafe begs for a chance. Ed says that its over. Rafe can't accept it, and Ed tells him that he has to.

Alison stares at the candle admitting she had thought that in lighting the candle Rafe would come back, but it doesn't work that way. Rafe is never coming back. She blows out the candle and leaves the attic. With Alison gone, the candle reignites on its own.

April 2: Alison comes into the attic and says good morning to Rebecca. She admits that she slept in her old bed, saying that she didn't want to go back to Lucy's without Rafe. She wanted to stay closer to Rebecca and sees the burning candle and says that she was positive she blew the candle out. She notices that none of the wax has burned out, even though it was burning all night. Ali runs her finger over the flame of the candle and burns herself. A knock at the door sounds, and she quickly covers the painting of Rebecca. Its Livvie. She says that she had tried to call Ali but no one was there, including Rafe. Alison says that Rafe is gone, and hopes that Livvie could offer some support. She says that she came over for another reason, Eve Lambert was killed. Alison realizes that Eve was the 5th chair and explains to Livvie that Rafe had told her he was supposed to help someone cross over and they had thought it was supposed to be Alison. She wants to go over to Ian and tell him that she knows what its like to lose someone she loves, but Livvie stops her. She tells Ali that she can't compare her love with Rafe (her fantasy boyfriend for 5 minutes) with that of the married Ian and Eve, and Daniel losing his mother! That is sick! Alison retaliates with a slap across Livvie's face.

Livvie can't believe that Alison hit her! Ali apologizes, but says that she was just so angry... for what? Livvie asks, because she doesn't think that Ali losing Rafe is the same as Eve dying? Alison defends herself and says that pain is pain and whether she thinks that Ali's is important enough, it matters to her, because her heart is breaking. Livvie, now crying, apologizes. Alison asks that Livvie not trash her relationship with Rafe. Livvie changes the subject and asks about all the stuff. Ali peels off the cover from the painting and shows the candles to Livvie. She says that she lit the pink one for Rafe, but Livvie probably thinks its stupid. Livvie apologizes again and says that it just seems that every time they turn around someone is losing someone and it hurts. The friends hug. Livvie admires a blue candle and Alison tells her she should have it, its her colour! She realizes she late for meeting with Jack and tells Alison to call her if she needs anything. Livvie takes off and alone, Alison says to Rebecca that she can't believe that it was Eve. She says that Eve is so lucky to have Rafe in heaven with her, it must make it so much easier for her. As she sorts through the candles, she realizes that she never looked to see what Livvie's candle said. She's happy that Livvie didn't take the comfort one, and hopes that it can work its magic on someone who could use it right now.

Alison returns to the attic to find it completely clean of everything- including the paintings and candles. Nana comes in and says that the room looks much better and Ali demands to know where her stuff went. Rebecca's stuff, she means? Nana says that they are gone, they were trash, given to charity. She says that she was very releaved to be rid of that stuff- it was a fire hazard. Alison wants to know why she hates Rebecca so much, it was her grandfather's grandmother, she was beautiful and talented. Nana says that Rebecca was evil, she was a witch! She cast a spell on everything she touched and that's all she going to say.

April 3: Alison is sitting in the attic, looking sad and off into space. Amanda comes in and asks what she is doing. Alison is upset that Amanda told her Rebecca was a witch and wants to know where the stuff went to. She refuses saying that its all dangerous and Ali has no idea what she is getting into if she doesn't drop it. She leaves the attic, and Alison swears not to forget about it.

Alison comes to Jack & Livvie's and needs their help. She tells them that Amanda gave away all of Rebecca's stuff and she needs to find what charity she gave them to. She says her grandmother thinks that Rebecca is a witch, but she thinks its just a family superstition. Ali admits that they remind her of Rafe because he got her thinking of Rebecca. Jack agrees, but Livvie says that if Rebecca was a witch, they don't want anything to do with it. After everything they've been through she has the nerve to ask them to help her with something dangerous. Jack says that its not dangerous and Ali says it has nothing to do with Caleb, its in the past and Rebecca is dead. Livvie says that being dead doesn't stop things from happening. Jack asks Alison to let them have a minute, and Ali goes to the porch. She remembers telling Rafe about the painting and how real it was and how they'd talk for hours about random things. She says to Rafe (in heaven) that she wants some help finding her old friend because she doesn't want to lose two people.

Jack comes out onto the porch and says that Livvie's not really interested in helping out cause it brings up bad memories. Ali says that she wasn't trying to scare Livvie, she just really misses Rafe. Jack pulls Alison into a hug and assures her that everything will be okay. (Inside, Livvie witnesses it, and pushes the candle down in anger. The bottom of the candle reads "Trouble")

April 4: Alison arrives at Jack & Livvie's and asks if she can go to Eve's funeral with them. Jack asks if she found the stuff, she says she hasn't but she won't give up. They arrive at the funeral (which is in the park) and Alisons says that even without warning, it doesn't make someone departure hurt any less. Livvie notices that Amanda has arrived and asks if Ali is going to say hello to her. Alison refuses, especially after getting rid of Rebecca's stuff. Livvie gets miffed with the talk of Rebecca and leaves to talk to Victor and Mary. Alison asks Jack if Livvie is still mad, and Jack says she is. Jamal arrives and greets both Jack and Alison. They acknowledge Chris' arrival, and Alison offers to leave them alone. The funeral begins and after a sobworthy montage and Chris' singing of "the way you look tonight" Alison runs from the funeral in tears.

Jack is chasing down Alison and she reveals to him that the candle Ian spoke so strongly about was one of Rebecca's- she'd given it to him. She says its not fair that someone can be taken away so fast, and she'd give anything to have one more second with Rafe and that will never happen. Jack says that it is possible, be she and Rafe had something special, so maybe she needs to say a proper goodbye.

April 5: Jack and Alison are at the barn, they've found her things! They have no idea how they got there. Jack is worried about how the things got there and wonders if Ali brought them there. Ali denies it (she's not crazy!) she says that she doesn't care how it got there either. She also finds the portrait stuffed in a corner. Jack recognizes the face on the portrait and says that he knows her! Jack says that he knows someone like her- Paige, Kevin's old girlfriend. She's left for London a couple of days ago. Alison begins to piece things together and realizes that that must have been who saved her on the railroad tracks. She says she had thought that Rebecca had come back to save her. Jack's a bit creeped out that she would think Rebecca, a dead person would come back to life. Alison defends herself and says that its like Rebecca sent her to save her! She won't let her go and won't lose her again!

As they search through a variety of trunks, she says that its amazing to find her stuff. Jack finds an old camera and Alison tells him he can have it. There's film in it and he offers to take her picture. She poses and he snaps a picture. In one of the boxes Alison finds a quilt and says that it feels fitting and just right to find everything in the barn. Like pieces of her childhood, mixed with pieces of her womanhood. Jack says that its time to do what she came there to do- to say goodbye to Rafe. She asks for some time alone, and Jack wishes her good luck. Looking upwards she tells Rafe that she's there.

Alison says that she's trying so hard to be strong, but she has this terrible ache in her heart that just won't go away. Its a terrible feeling and all she wants to do is lay down and close her eyes and fad away and never get up. Rafe's voice echos and she remembers him promising that they will be joined as one (their wedding vows). She says that he left without saying goodbye like he promised and she feels lost and no one wants to talk about it or help her and she feels so alone! Rebecca's voice is heard in the barn saying "you're wrong Alison" and says that she's not alone after all. Alison calls out, asking who said that. Rebecca comes alive and right out of the painting (AKK!) and says to a shocked Alison that she's never been alone. (Very creepy!!)

(elsewhere in PC- Jamal and Livvie discover that Rebecca was hanged for murder, one that Rebecca insisted she didn't commit)
