City of Hope is one of a handfull of hospitals designated as a nationally designated comprehensive cancer care center.  I've been involved with them over 20 years.  The Walk for Hope is an event raising funds for breast cancer treatment, prevention and awareness.  The Queen's Team
(TM) has many projects which fund COH including Kareoke for Hope and the

The Muscular Dystrophy Association is another organization I've been involved with for several decades.  Past experience includes fund-raisers, camp nurse and the telethon.  Each year, the Queen's Team(TM) participates in many of these events with me.
The Relay for life is a flag ship event for the American Cancer Society.  This is a 24 hour relay event in which teams are formed and take turns walking the track to raise money for ACS.  It's a festive family event and the kids love camping out on the track.
The Miss USA Pageant was a fun experience.  Shelly, JoLynne and I were stand ins for the judges and I even had the opportunity to be the Clairol Style Award winner.  At the after party, we had the pleasure of meeting Ananda Lewis, Billy Baldwin and Tommy Davidson.
The International Film Festival in Temecula was an interesting experience.  The Queen's Team(TM) wrangled talent, presented the awards on stage and just about anything asked of us.  Julia Stemock of Greenstem Productions was the producer and we LOVED working with her.
The Temecula Valley Wine Grower's Assn. not only promotes the great wines of Temecula, but provides agricultural scholarships in many areas and donates to many charitable organizations.  The Queen's Team(TM) is a staple for their "Vinter's Gold" which raises funds for TVWG's events.  Here Lily, Effie and Christ were models for the live auction items.
The Queen's Team(TM) supports the members of our community who are often forgotten.  Events such as "Valentine's for Veterans" and "Project Just Because" are opportunities for our younger members to participate by crafting and distributing holiday cards to hospitalized veterans, fire/police personnel and members of our retirement communities.
