Pasan migrated to Australia with his parents in early 2005. Since then he has participated in every tournament (under 18) conducted by the New South Wales Junior Chess League. Overall, he has played 83 games and won 45 with 15 drawn games. He is presently with 882 rating points and ranked 02nd in NSW and ranked 05th in Australia in under 10 category (June/2006).
Pasan represents Westmead Public School Junior Chess team. Recently he took part in games against Kings College and the Blaxwel Public School. He is so far undefeated with 04 wins.
