Tyr is an enchanted ferret who travels with the half-kender ranger Vale Darkforest.  He has been with him since he was a young boy.
    Tyr's origin remains somewhat of a mystery to all.  He was given to the young boy after his mother purchased the ferret from a traveling white-robed wizard.  The man gave it to her for free, then left without another word.  As he traveled with Vale he displayed several odd traits that were not common among his kind.  He seems to have a few limited abilities similar to those of a familiar of equal level.  He may be capable of more.
