Today I um...well I haven't left my room but once--to get a can of coke.  It's nice really to just spend the day away from it all...even though checking the weather report today is the last semi warm day for a while...oh well.

Godsmack last night at HOB Myrtle Beach...Aside from what I'd heard on the radio, I didn't go with much info about the band...but they certainly rocked the house, and the place was absolutely packed, all 3000 or so I guess is what the ticket takes were saying!  Great great show.

Now, if I could have simply strangled, shot, decapaitated the two 30-40 year old women screaming right behind me...it woudl hacve been an awesome night...normally that kind of stuff only hampers the show cuz I'm hating it for the tape...but dear gods those women did more damage to my ears than the fucking band did.  I was NOT a very fucking happy camper.  One of them had her fuckign kid with her too-some little seven or eight year old boy--she was screaming in the poor kids ears--even after he told her it hurt (she later would cover his ears with her hands but continue to wail away...)  I had ear plugs in my backpack...but they didn't let bags in so I forgot them...at the least there was no pat down so I didn't hafta worry about them catching my gear...

but fuck my ears hurt after that.  i don't want to even *bother* listening to the recording until I get all my sound editing software up and running (I'm still waiting on that damn sound card...another day or two and I'm sending an email about that...) because due to the sustained pitch and *length* I may be able to filter those out...fingers crossed...

so as you may have noticed, I've moved from the personal notification list to one sponsered by ONElist...makes it easier for everyone really...this way if you don't want the other subscribers to know you're on it (which at this point I hardly think is a problem, but you never know down the road...)

Spent yesterday mucking around with the archives...finally finished typing in the entries from Airborne School, fixed a couple broken links, etc.
I still haven't found any mention of that one other small gig tori dream though...I think I'll just have to completely pour through the damn archives...guess I get to see how you all feel whenever I say "just go look in the archives"...

Been thinking of making a brief Bio to link to on the front page...I know all you regulars already know me IRL and don't need it, but it'd be nice for those occasional "one-hitters" i suppose...it's reading these otehr journals where they have this big funny thing about themselves that's inspiring me to do my own.  up until this point, I've refrained from linking to other journals because for a long while I just wasn't into reading abotu other troubles or lives...but I've found three that I really really like...

go figure, they're all three female.  Shoot me.  Can I help it if the female one interest me most...after all it'd sure be a good way to meet someone...not that I'm neccessarily romantically inclined towards any of these journals--just a thought mind you...

hmmm....looks like it's not the whole month though :)
