Directions
To Meet:
The race is being held at Polk Community College in Winter Haven:
From
Orlando:
Take I-4 West (528 to 417) to Exit 55 (US 27,
Baseball City Stadium).
Go south on US 27 about 20 minutes to Highway 542/Dundee Road in Dundee
(through Haines City).
Turn right (west) on to 542.
Go about five miles and look for a lake on the right (Lake Elbert)--you
can see PCC accross the lake.
After following the lake, the road forks off: One direction toward
downtown Winter Haven and the other following the lake--keep following the
lake around until you get to Polk Community College.

Raider
Classic Volunteers/T-Shirts
We are still looking for more volunteers for the Raider Classic. This will
be our biggest meet ever and we need as many people as possible to make it
run smoothly. Those parents that have already signed up should have
received the duty roster either by e-mail or through your athlete bringing
it home today. If not, please let Coach Sage know.
Also,
anyone interested in buying a meet t-shirt needs to let either coach know
by tomorrow. The design is shown above and can be seen in color on the
team web site--very nice huh? The cost is $10. We will hand out the shirts
prior to the race (no more waiting until after the meet the get yours).
Thanks
For Driving
We sincerely appreciate all the parents that drove to the Edgewater race.
We could not be nearly as successful without the help of all our dedicated
parents. We will also need a lot of drivers for the Disney (Oct. 11) and
Sebastian (Oct. 19) meets, so please keep those days open
Quote Of The Week
"Spend
at least some of your training time, and other parts of your day,
concentrating on what you are doing in training and visualizing your
success."
