Major General Evander M. Law C.S.A.

    In 1920 Evander Law became the last surviving Confederate General to die.  However, Law is one of the least known Generals who served on the Rebel side during the Civil War.  He rose from the rank of captain to the before-mentioned Major General  rank while serving in just about every major battlefield in Virginia.  his campaigns included 1st Bull Run, Gettysburg, Sharpsburg, Cold Harbor and many others.

    This website is dedicated to his memory and is devoted to finding as much about Evander Law that is possible.  I am in the process of enlisting some of the best Civil War historians in the country to help me in my quest.  The quest to learn about Major General Evander Law whose background is shrouded in mystery.  So feel free to look around the site and as I tell my students "I hope that you learn something today."
