Shadowolf's Paper Miniatures

This is just a holding page for some of my paper games figures. I have drawn these myself and don't mind people printing them off for personal use. However that does not extend to people using these without permission on web sites or distributing them as part of games or publications

The following figures were created by drawing them on paper and scanning them. They were then edited using PhotoStudio. I printed the files from this program at 100% size onto card stock, I prefer a shiny paper as the details come out very sharp. Others will suggest printing on matt card stock, but I have found the ink bleeds a little so some details are lost. I print mine on semi gloss or gloss photo card. The details in the colour come out so sharp and bright, you can see uniform piping and buttons so clearly, even the whites of their eyes!! The resulting figures print at 30mm in height.

I have played around with various ways of mounting these. These ones are designed to be inserted into a slot of foam card. The tab can be removed for alternative basing methods. The foam card base is covered in PVA glue and a sheet of static grass mat to blend in with wargames table

A recent method I have started using is to cut out the figures as normal and run batches of them through a laminator. These are cut out leaving an edge around the miniature. This provides a water proof, indestructible layer around the printed miniature. This also makes it really easy to slot into the foam card many times and just store the miniatures flat in envelopes.

Click on the buttons below to be taken to the figures. Be Warned! Some of these are slow to load as the file size can be large due to the detail and size of the sheets.
