Uncle Johnnys Candy & Treats wanted to make this website, so that we can get the word out to the world of how passionate we are about candy. We made sure to make our site enjoyable to look at, see some prices of candy that is available at all times in-store, and contact Uncle Johnnys if you have any questions at all. By following those guidelines, we developed this website to ensure we met these objective for our customers.
Defense of the Final Product
When it comes to the design of our website, we choice to make it pop from other sites you may see. That is why we have included some images and videos, from our friends over at Lofty Pursuits on YouTube, to show you the kind of candy creations that we make. We wanted the home page to immediate show a video of the candy making process, the Candy & Treats page to show the prices of some candy that is always available, the YouTube page to display some videos of the candy making process, and the contact us page for finding up and talking with us. The theme for the entire website is a nice, candy background with a pink inner background. We made sure to develop the website, so that it is easy and simple to browse for the user. We are here to show you the kind of candy we sell in our store and the process we take to make some of the candy, because it looks cool!
Opportunities for Improvement and Growth
In the future of Johnnys Candy & Treats website, we would like to make it look a little nicer with some JavaScript! That is something we are looking forward to and will make the website much more appealing than it currently is. Also, more videos of our partner at Lofty Pursuits will be added, to show our customers more of the candy making process! We would also like to start an online order capability, in the future. That will help our customers with placing orders for pickup and maybe even home delivery!
