Conan_The_Librarian, as well as SuperOps Mahajana and kevin18`` and most of the regulars are students of the SBRR Mahajanas Pre-University College in Mysore, which lends its name to this baby boomer of a channel.

Conan_The_Librarian who was an active member of #Mysore at that time started a channel with the purpose of providing the net-savvy students of SBRRM college their very own stomping-ground, where they could diss the lecturers, the principal (Shivanna, I want my money back, you freaking jerk!!!), other students and generally anything that pissed them off. He immediately registered #mahajanas and waited... and waited... and waited... but nothing happened. Then one day he met Mahajana who is his senior in college on #Mysore and invited him to #mahajanas and gave him Sop privileges. Next came kevin18`` who was Conan_The_Librarian's batchmate and he too got Sop. There ends the channel info.
