Pond guards can be manufactured to your own design and specification. They can be made to follow the basic shape of all common moulds and existing ponds. This includes any shape from round to square and kidney to oval. They can be made in sections to fit even the largest of ponds.
Cut outs can be made for plants to grow through and hatches can be incorporated to enable easy access to your pump. They are also made to hinge open in the middle so that you can clean out and maintain your pond. Hooks can be made to allow you to use padlocks to keep the guard securely closed.
Pond guards can be used to provide extra safety for your children and pets but can also be used to protect your fish from herons or even thieves if you have valuable fish such as koi carp.
The guards are designed to be fitted above the level of the water. We do not believe it is safe to fit products below the level of the water as young children can drown in a very small amount of water and a heavy downpour may leave the pond a lot deeper then when you first fitted the guard.
The product can be fitted by cementing the metal legs into the ground or brackets can be made to fit to the sides of the framework to bolt it down. Alternative fixings can be discussed to suit your own circumstances.
They are manufactured using plastic coated wire mesh and are supplied galvanised as standard, this helps to protect the material and also enhances the appearance.
