R.A.G. ENGINEERING
R.A.G. Engineering is a manufacturing firm on the Essex coast ideally situated for the A12 and M25.  The company is made up of business partners Richard Garland and Andy Kemp.  Richard had been self-employed for many years as a Welder & Fabricator and decided that it was time he moved into larger premises.  At the same time he thought it would be a good idea to expand the business, that is when Andy joined him to bring in more varied work.  Both have been in the manufacturing trade since leaving school.

Richard started work as a furnace-builder; and also worked at a truck-builders before moving to a firm that produced replica Jaguar SS100 kit cars.  The company he worked for later sold on this side of the business but Richard continues to build the chassis, fuel tank, hood frame and many other parts.

Andy has worked at several different engineering firms since leaving school so has varied skills but is a Turner by trade and now runs the CNC Turning side of R.A.G.  Together Richard and Andy have over 60 years of experience in engineering.
