Not surprisingly ... something has come along and roused my ire...
Recently, a Russian scientist was arrested for exposing some of the weaknesses
in "E-book" copy protection. He gave a presentation at a security conference
on how the copy protection could be circumvented, mind you he didn't actually
distribute any copyrighted works, And presto he's snapped up by the FBI for violating
the DMCA. Yes... America land of freedom, go ahead, teach people to kill or
build bombs, that's protected by the first amendment, but if you threaten the
profits of our beloved corporate masters... straight to jail with you. Information

write to your congress person and let them know.
