From Pompeii we drove to Naples (Napoli) and had real Italian pizza at a small neighborhood pizzeria.  No tomato sauce but it was very good!  And fresh olives taste alot better than the canned ones Round Table uses (oh, we're spoiled).

Drove to the Piazza Pleblicito and Chiesa Francesco di Paola, a beautiful piazza near the port of Naples.  Saw the Castel Nuovo.  Auntie found a  real nice pasticerie (bakery) and tea room.  YUMMY!

From Naples we drove to Sorrento, a sleepy little town by the ocean.  Actually it was sleepy because the shops were closed  on Sunday.  Got back on the Autostrade and was in Rome by 8:30PM.  We probably would have returned later but I caught Paolo driving 190 kilometers an hour while everyone slept in the car (that's 125 MPH in the U.S.) and that's normal for driving over there.
