The War of the Century!
Rating: R…ok this rating is for the whole story overall but this first part is only like PG-13
Warnings: IT’S GIRLS VS. GUYS IN AN ALL OUT WAR!!!!!
Setting: Ok, I didn’t want to get into how they got there, but everyone is on a deserted island. I figure that the guys went flying around searching for a good spot. It’s a deserted tropical island in the middle of no were. Kurillin, Juhachigou, Chi Chi, Goku, Vegeta, Bulma, Gohan, Videl, and yes they’re all there!
Disclaimer: No, I don’t own them so what’s new?
Now… The fight of the century…
"Oh Vegeta! It’s so beautiful!" Bulma chirped.
"Yeah, whatever you say woman," Vegeta said as Bulma shot him that <Don’t you dare ruin this> look.
"Oh Goku it’s soooooo romantic!" Chi Chi sighed.
"Yup! This is going to be pretty nice. Me and the guys worked pretty hard to find this place," Goku returned the amazement.
"This is nice," Videl commented.
"Yeah," Gohan said.
"Wow, you did a pretty damn good job!" (Guess who said that.) Juhachigou.
"Uh…heh yeah," Kurillin replied.
The four couples looked at the stretching ocean across the horizon. The sun's reflection rippled along the surface, twas’ shortly after noon.
"How did you get this HUGE house reserved on such a beautiful island!?" Bulma asked.
"Well… we didn’t actually reserve it…" Goku said.
"Well, then how DID you get it?" Bulma asked.
"Well, we sort of…" Goku started.
"I threatened the life lives of a few construction type people and they built us this dream house for our pure enjoyment and no one else can use it or even knows about it!" Vegeta finished.
The girls exchanged looks.
"Well, any way, since everything’s already set up why don’t we eat now so we can watch the sun set," Chi Chi suggested.
All of the girls agreed. The guys just looked forward to the food.
So all four girls scurried around making what seemed like millions of turkey sandwiches and other typical lunch foods.
"I know Capsule Corp. makes more than enough to pay for all the food we constantly prepare, but if anything were to get us broke it would be those men and their appetites!" Bulma complained.
"Maybe if Kurillin tried eating that much it would give him a growth spurt." Juhachigou laughed.
"Oh Juhachigou! I heard you just the other day on the telephone…" Bulma nudged her.
Juhachigou’s mouth dropped open.
"Yeah, you said you liked shorter men…" Videl pitched in.
"You recall saying… they're cuter… more fun…" Chi Chi went on.
"And you listened to me!?" she yelled.
"Oh boy! Did we!" Chi Chi sighed.
"You! You! You little…" Juhachigou looked around at their smiling faces. "Oh you guys bug the hell out of me!" She gave up hitting them each playfully on the back. They stumbled forward a little.
"Heh, yeah," they agreed.
While the girls were laughing over common subjects the guys just sat at the table and watched. They were amazed at how much amusement they found in simple talk.
"Incredible aren’t they…" Vegeta commented. Everyone stared at him.
"What…do you mean Vegeta?" Goku persuaded.
"They find as much excitement in talking as we do fighting. Why? What did you think I meant?" he returned.
"Oh nothing," Gohan said whistling.
"Nothing at all," Kurillin repeated.
"I think it’s more amazing how they manage to be so involved in conversation and still correctly do what they’re doing," Goku said. "Once, I saw Chi Chi talking on the phone with it on her shoulder, putting on her lipstick, writing down an address on a notepad, and watching Goten study at the same time!" He laughed at the thought.
"Bulma does stuff like that all the time… but it’s the scariest thing on earth when she does it while she’s driving," Vegeta added to the conversation.
"I don’t know… Videl always makes me do the rest when she has to do more than two things," Gohan said.
"I don’t think Juhachigou has the patience, she’d just blow up everything else," Kurillin said. Everyone laughed.
"Lunch is served boys!" The girls put down plates with pyramids of sandwiches with the guys drooling over them.
The girls sat across from their husbands intently watching them eat. Kurillin also watched most of the time, being that he wasn’t a Saiyajin. Each of them had a single sandwich.
Goku brought up the fact they should eat more and, "Don’t even start with that again," was Chi Chi’s reply. Vegeta laughed, no one else knew what was so funny but Bulma.
"Oh! The sun is going to set! Come on guys!" Videl exclaimed while dragging Gohan over to the shore.
Everyone lay out a small distance from the waters edge to watch the sun.
Vegeta put his arm on Bulma’s shoulder. "Vegeta…" Bulma said mischievously with a big grin on her face. He quickly pulled back and tried to pretend he never did such a thing. She giggled and ruffed up his hair.
Gohan and Videl lay back with their eyes closed enjoying the last bit of warmth that the sun would be giving that day.
"The food was great, hun," Goku said kissing Chi Chi on the cheek.
"Everything seems so perfect. It’s almost to amazing to believe," she said.
"Yeah, but it’s only perfect because you’re here with me," he said smiling at her. She snuggled up under his arm as they watched the sun fall lower and slight darkness starting to approach.
But when darkness fell it was surprisingly warm. The air surrounding the island was warm because it was located pretty close to the equator Bulma calculated.
"And even still, being miles away from your lab you still bring your math and weird science to forever haunt us with your answer to everything?" Vegeta smirked.
"Not everything…" Bulma replied.
"What?" Vegeta asked.
"I still have yet to find how you seem to have a come back for every single thing I could ever possibly say," she said.
Everybody laughed. Chi Chi stood up.
Goku looked up at her. "What are ya’ doing Chi Chi?" he asked.
She smiled. She walked over to the waters edge. She dipped her toe in and looked back at him. "The water is warm… what do you say we go for a swim you guys?" she said smiling at Goku.
Everyone looked at everyone…
"Yeah!" They yelled running into the "house" to change.
Only the beginning…
The fun has just begun!
