Destined Virtues
Chapter 7 by Tokumei Kibon

Gohan sat and stared at the other cars on the road.  He sat in the backseat, next to Kuririn.  Mr. Piccolo, it seemed, had other places to go.

He sighed, louder this time, and got Kuririn's attention.  He looked over at the little warrior but said nothing.

Gohan was deep in thought about the upcoming events that might change his whole life, for goodI know that we're driving so if the androids come, they won't see people flying and decide to attack sooner.  I guess that's good... since I can't fly all that well.

He watched silently as a small plane flew above in the sky in their direction.

"I can't help it if I get bored easily," Juuni-gou said as he soared about a highway.  Everything looked so small and pitiful.  He thought that humans could have been capable of so much more.

They were, it seemed.  He looked down at a small car heading along his same route on the highway.

"Interesting..." the cruel android said as his power senses kicked in.  "Looks like I'm in for some different kind of fun today."  He grinned maliciously as he swooped down to his unsuspecting opponents.

Gohan felt fear sweep over him.  He saw the would-be plane swoop down at a very high velocity heading straight for the car that he, Kuririrn, Bulma and Yamucha currently occupied.

A hand broke through the window and had grabbed his collar before he knew it.  The androids had attacked, and he was their first victim.  Gohan closed his eyes as he felt himself being propelled through the air.  Farther and farther away from his friends' ki.

Gohan opened his eyes when he felt pain as he collided with the ground.  He look up to see a figure hovering over him , but he was still dizzy.  The figure of one lone android flew down to meet the opponent he had chosen and it was then when Gohan's eyes met with what he had grown to hate.  Grown to hate the invisible enemy.

It was then and only then, when his heart had ever felt such fear and ache.

He looked into the eyes of the enemy, but not just the enemy.  The man that had been one of the two he'd loathed.  This man, with cold eyes that bore so much hate into one glance.

His enemy.

His deliverer of his destiny.

His father.

He stood in front of him, looking down at him with a positively evil smile set upon his face.  That's all he could describe it as.  Evil.

Juuichi-gou felt a sudden rush of energy across her senses.  She looked up to he west and muttered a single word before blasting off toward the direction of.

"Juuni-gou..."
