747-100

This is a pretty good view of a 747-100. Notice the "hump" near the front of the aircraft and the fact that there are no wingtips! Four engines, lots of wheels on the bottom.

...like I said before, lots of wheels on the bottom. 4 sets of 4 wheels each for the main landing gear; 16 wheels altogether. Nose wheel is of a standard type, usually 2 wheels.

Nice view of a 747-100 taking off. Remember- four engines. That's very important. 747's have a very unique shape in that they look very bulky, almost muscular.

And this is Air Force One. We talked a bit about this airplane earlier. It's nothing more than a really really expensive 747-200 that carries the President of the United States. There are a few changes, like all the antennas on the top of the plane, the small bulge on the nose (*where the aerial refueling probe is*) and some other stuff that's either classified or I can't recall...

Good example of a 747-300. Again, there's nothing different from either the 100 or 200, except take a look at the hump. It's a little longer than the other 747's. That's the only real change...

At last, my babygirl: the 747-400. This is the plane with the wingtips :) Just like the 300, it has the extended upper deck (*longer hump*) and the wintips were added to improve fuel efficiency...

Another 747-400. Again, a good view of the wingtips and the upper deck...and the wheels being stowed away...
