737

So this is an old airplane! The 737-100 was built in the mid to late 1960's. Notice how the engines are long and narrow-that's how you can tell the 100 and 200 models from all the others.

Really good view of the long, narrow engines. This is a 200 model, which is different from the 100 only in being a little longer.

See what we mean when we say 737's have "flat" tail cones? Good close up of the tail on a 737-300, but the tails are the same on all the models.

This is a 737-300. Notice how the engines are smaller (*shorter*) than the 100 and 200 models. It's still a little longer than the 100/200 planes.

737-400. Once again, just a little longer...

For once, they didn't just make the damn thing longer! They made it shorter...and changed the types of engines. From the outside, it looks the same as a 737-300, only a little shorter.

Changes to the 737-600 pictured here? Different wing design. That's all.

There are two different versions of the 737-700...one with and one without wingtips. Guess which one this is again?

...and guess which one this is?

Once again, two different versions of the 737-800. Both are longer versions of the 737-700. This one without wingtips...

...and this one with wingtips.

Finally! The last of the 737 series! This one has no versions with wingtips or anything; it's just a longer version of the 737-800 with newer engines.
