At this insistence of my girlfriend (not really instistence, so much as a mild curiosity as to why I dont), Im going to write personal stuff. You knowreflective essays and stories that are actually true, rather than the fiction I disguise as personal, so as to always be able to back pedal my way out of any mistakes in character or change in judgment.
This is where youll find these shortish essays that may be very personal or may just be something I am mulling over as a tangential aspect of my life. As a warning, though, I generally have an aversion to people who write about themselves as if other people care. So I wont share any of those personal feelings I hold about other people or use this as a forum for coyly denouncing or lambasting real people who really exist. I will also try to steer clear of too much self-indulgence and if any of it seems too pretentious, email me and Ill let you know why it is distinctly not pretentious and why I am, in fact, better than you.
