"You ain' seen nothin' yet!"

Assuming that at least a few of the Drama students see this site, I feel that with OneActs approaching so rapidly, we should review a few of the rules to be observed while in an Auditorium. (A few of us may even want to keep these in mind so as to avoid getting in trouble in class also.)

  • NO gum, candy, food, or any other edible substances in the auditorium
  • NO touching the cyc (the light blue "drape" behind the stage)
  • NO talking above a whisper while in the wings during a performance
  • NO going into the dressing rooms if you do not have permission
  • NO putting on costumes while in the dressing rooms
  • NO going into the lumber room or prop room without permission
  • NO going onto the catwalk or roof without permission
  • NO talking or moving during a performance (you should be focused on the performance)

    • Those are some of the basic rules. There are many many more, but I honestly don't think anyone will read them at all if they take up a hundred lines.


    Scripts n' stuff:

    Our "Project of Choice" performances are coming up. If you go to the links page, there's a section where you can find a few decent scripts. No word on when scripts are due since everyone's been so busy with the Crucible, but I'll post it once I know.

    Club info:

    We need as many people as possible to sell tickets for our upcoming production and sell ad space in our programs. If you sell 10 tickets, you get a free Crucible t-shirt! To get one though, you need to tell us your shirt size as you get tickets to sell. For more information, contact Ms. Culver in the auditorium before 4th period.


    Fundraiser info:

    CONGRADULATIONS GUYS! We kicked butt at the HatDrop we had on Sunday. We made a grand total of (Drum roll please...) five HUNDRED thirty nine dollars! (I think it adds more emphasis when you write it out like that.) We made an awful lot considering the wonderful variety of attitudes people were displaying that day. You always get a good mix of people when doing a fundraiser outside of a supermarket on Game Day. :) Go us!
    The following fundraiser is a Yard sale/Bake sale/Fish fry. Not many details have been released on this one, but Ms. Culver is now accepting donations for the Yard sale portion of the fundraiser. If you could help us out, it'd be much appreciated. Contact Ms. Culver via the Sponsor's page at the bottom of the screen for more information.
