Blue Heelers
Blue Heelers was first screened on Australian televisions in January 1994 and since then, over 400 episodes have been screened.  Infact, at the end of 2005, Channel Seven will have screened 499 eps.

Not many people were hopeful that the show would be picked up, but it was. 
Then, people weren't hopeful of the show lasting long, but it has- 11 years plus.

Through out the years, we have seen many characters come and go, but the only actors who have stayed with the show since the begining are John Wood - (Snr. Sg. Tom Croydon) and Julie Nihill (Chris Reilly).

People would agree that now days, the episodes focus more on love relationships around the new stations.
Almost every charatcer is partnered with another officer, except for poor old Tom, whos second wife was killed last year.

In 2004, Blue Heelers was given an extermely big extreme makeover" with four new characters coming into the show, and within two months, two old characters leaving.

As most fans know, Blue Heelers was infact axed at the end of 2005 - beginning 2006 and 11 episodes were screened in 2006, wrapping up a long and dramatic thirteen years of Australian Police Drama
