Me! (Yay me)

NAME: Elizabeth Mary Cannell.
EDUCATION: Recently graduated from Emmanuel Christian High School, now attending John Abbott College in Science.
HOBBIES: Music (voice/piano/guitar), performing arts, being a camp counsellor, philosophizing with my friends, and confusing people.
PART-TIME JOB: I don't have one that pays, although if I counted up all of the hours of extracurricular activities I do, I would conclude that it should constitute work.
FAVOURITE MOVIES: Oklahoma, Grease.
MUSICAL TASTES: I listen to Broadway (Grease, Oklahoma, Meet Me in St. Louis), Classical, Light Opera (G & S, The Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables), Christian Contemporary (Jennifer Knapp, Carolyn Arends), Christian Alternative (The Newsboys, DC Talk), Celtic and Scottish music, Oldies (Beach Boys, The Beatles), and Ska (The W's). I also occasionally find a song or two in other styles of music that I absolutely adore, but that would take forever to list.
FAVOURITE TELEVISION SHOWS: Edgemont and The Simpsons.

The Page About ME!

Many people are born, live, and die without ever truly answering this question. Who am I? Why am I here? What is life, and what is its meaning? We ask eachother who we are, and we get a name, an occupation, an address, but to me, the only thing that really matters is what you believe. When I die, someone will fill my shoes, when I die, someone will take my stuff, when I die, someone will cry for me, and I won't be there to see it - but before I die, I want to be able to say that I know what will happen when I do. And truthfully, I can say that I am at that point; my beliefs, my life, my Christianity have given me that security of mind and thought and I know that I will never turn back.
So who am I, really? I'm more than just a number, more than just a student, more than just a person bound to die one day, I'm a Christian, and I've found the meaning to my life.
