| The journey begins in London on the 30th July 2005, with all teams heading to Prague for the 1st checkpoint. The teams can then choose one of 3 routes, via Moscow, Kiev, or Istanbul, all eventuallly converging on Samarkand, in Uzbekistan. From there, reunited, the rally heads into Kyrgyzstan, north into Kazakhstan and Russia, before dropping down into Mongolia. The final dash (or crawl) is to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia's capital, for the well earned black-tie ball......for those that make it! | |||||||||||||||||||||
