Blue-Haired Goddess Shrine

What is it about girls with blue hair? No, I'm not talking about little old ladies at the bingo parlor with their little good-luck troll dolls and knitting needles. I'm talking about women with naturally blue locks that flow from their animated heads. What captivates us with them so? Why blue above mint-green or deep purple? I don't know. Just enjoy the tour.
If you see this blue-ponytailed girl in a pink kimono riding on a boat oar, that's a bad thing. It means you are dead. Botan-chan, from Yu Yu Hakusho is the carrier of the dead to the other side. She is also a part-time Spirit Detective. I don't know about anyone else, but when my time comes, I want Botan to come for me.

"You're the carrier of the dead to the other side?! Well, you don't have to be so damn cheerful about it!"
-Yusuke

At left we have a protrait of Marjorie Simpson, formerly Marjorie Bouvier. She can fix a sandwitch and poke all the pimentoes out of the cold cuts in seconds, and always wears a pearl necklace. Marge is so seductive, she has caught the eye of Montgomery Burns, Jaques the bowling coach, and Arnie Zip. However, her soulmate is Homer Simpson (Lucky stiff!), in spite of the assertions of the Space Coyote. Her beehive brings her total height to 8'6", giving her a certain beauty that only height can bestow.

"Get rid of that Troll doll! I don't want you playing with something that has such bizarre hair."
-Marge Simpson

Karin Aoi, of DNA fame, is a DNA genetics expert sent from the future to stop an impending population crisis by locating the "Mega Playboy" gene in a young schmuck and neutralizing it. Unfortuneatlely, she takes the wrong DCM (DNA Combination Modifier) bullet back with her and activates it before its time! Plagued by a number of things beyond her control gone horribly wrong, will she ever return to a future where she has a sweet life with a sweet husband and cute pet?

This is Sailor Mercury. When she's not protecting the world, she goes by Ami Mizuno. As the Sailor Senshi of Wisdom and Intellect, she is the brains behind Sailor Moon and the rest of the team.

"In the name of Mercury, douse yourself in water and repent!"
-Sailor Mercury

Pictured at left is Umi Ryuzaki. She is one of the Magic Knights, recruited to defend the land of from the evil priest Zagato. She, like Sailor Mercury, has water-based powers, including "Mizu no Ryu" ("Water Dragon") and "Aoi Tatsumaki" (Blue Cyclone" or "Spinning Blue Dragon"). She loves fencing, and hopes to return home to Tokyo, where she is the captain of her school's fencing team.

Behold the wonder that is the lovely Rei Ayanami. She's a clone created by the organization NERV, and she knows how to handle herself in the cockpit of Evangelion Unit 0. While not at all shy, she's not talkative. She's very quiet and reserved, seldom showing any personality at all. She makes Al Gore look like a wild man. Anyway, you don't have to worry about her having a boyfriend or anything. There are plenty of Reis to go around for everybody!
