In the third day of the European Hockey Club Challenge II, Rabat Depiro suffered their first defeat of the tournament when they went down to KPH Raca of Slovakia by a solitary goal.  Rabat played a very good game and had 4 clear chances in the second half but it was not to be their day.  This means that Rabat finished the group stages in second place and now will go on to meet the winners of Pool B which are yet to be decided.  Rabat will play their final game tomorrow at 13.30.

Maltese umpire Reno Cremona was appointed to officiate the match between Aker and HC Napaios Apollon.  Mr. Cremona received very positive feedback on his performance.
