In the second day of the European Hockey Club Challenge II, Rabat Depiro took to the field for the first time against Vilnius Ardas-Rudamina of Lithuania.  The latter have already lost their opening game of the tournament by 8 goals to nil against Slovak opposition KPH Raca.  Another defeat at the hands of Rabat would put them out of contention for the tournament and assure the northerners of a place in the last 4.

Rabat Depiro did just that by beating the Lithuanians 2-0, scoring a goal in each half.  Sunday's match against KPH Raca will determine who finishes 1st and 2nd in the group which will affect Rabat's opposition on Monday when the play-offs will be played.
