KADRI GOPALNATH
Kadri Gopalnath is India’s star sax player. He has tamed the saxophone, a keyed wind instrument, to express the delicate graces of South Indian classical music. From a lineage of nadaswaram vidwans, he learnt music from Mangalore Gopalkrishna Iyer and later from T.V. Gopalkrishnan. His mastery over the instrument is apparent in classical music concerts as well as in his nonchalant forays into experimental music |
