Solution to Sunday Drive

The bee has traveled 70 miles.

When the bee leaves your car, the other car is 60 miles away. Both cars are travelling at 30 miles per hour, so it will take 1 hour for the cars to pass. Travelling at 70 miles per hour for 1 hour, the bee goes 70 miles.
