I still keep up in my interests as far as possible. I have bought a small refractor, which is very timid by todays standards in telescopes but I enjoy taking it out on the odd occasion and looking even at Venus, Jupiter and the Moon.
I am experimenting with XML and XSL and with VRML and X3D. I enjoy keeping up with technology and imparting what little I gain by my constant reading and experimenting. I have found that these new technologies open avenues for educators and amateurs alike, and of course the students enjoy being up-to-date as well!
