Although I don't use this often for marine purposes, it does come in useful especially when the time comes to charge the boat's 12v battery at an isolated location.
Weighs about 20kg fully loaded with petrol,
the 4-stroke engine provides close to 3 hrs of usage with the internal 2litre tank. Rated power is 450watts continous, with peaks at 550watts.
This is used mainly for my work, but at times, I do use it for recreational purposes. Available for rentals on conditional basis.

Although this is not a marine compass, it sure serve it's purpose of indicating the direction of magnetic north. The needles turns smoothly despite heavy seas, unlike some other models where the needle tends to get stuck while the compass is not held steady.
The grid markings with various scales are extremely helpful in determining a more accurate position when using with navigational charts.
