wow, just realised that it's friday the thirteenth... how fitting. had a rough day yesterday.
but went with grace to william's last night... thanks, i love you so much dearie! you always know how to make me smile! "you think you know... but you really don't... " HAH! we'll see, won't we?

had a really nice day today. well, the latter part at least... the earlier part of the day i spent sleeping in my living room because i was really tired (i had difficulty falling asleep last night), my room gets really bright (damn east-facing windows!) and i had to sign for a package for jon (and i wasn't sure when they'd come... they said sometime between 9 to 5...). anyway, the day before i had actually missed the delivery since i was in the shower, so today, i was determined to catch the delivery guy even if it meant sleeping uncomfortably on the leather couch. so the package came at around noon time, and i decided to finally get up around then. later that day, i was talking with david and telling him what a dirty, dirty boy he was. no, not dirty, but TYPICAL. he's a typical male with hormones and stuff. yeah, i know that it's kinda expected since he IS a guy, but still... i like to think (dream) that my guy friends are all... i don't know... slightly asexual. not saying that they shouldn't be interested in girls, but just that they don't drool over pics of half-naked girls constantly (yeah right). i'd rather not that think that they do look at porn... yes, i know. unrealistic. but still, can't help but think it. oh c'mon, for you girls out there, i KNOW that there are a few guy friends of yours where the idea of them drooling over the pages of maxim is just weird and just plain wrong because you think of them slightly asexually. like i could picture some of my guy friends having cute crushes on girls, but not be like... that.... you know? anyhow, that's just what i think.
after talking on the phone, mei and gable came over so we could watch billy madison and i could do mei's make-up for gable's formal that night. i must say that she looked fabulous! it was really cool having them over... i mean, a classic adam sandler movie, twizzlers, and my best friend: what could be better? i hope they have lots of fun tonight!
ooooh, so before she left, mei left me her hair iron so i could straighten my hair... it's fun! sure, i pull out tons of hair and for awhile things smell a tinge burnt ("doctor, i smell burnt toast..." heh, heritage moment commercial...), but i liked how my hair looked. subtle, but still nice. so i did my hair, put on my "face" and after a quick dinner a little while later, i was off to meet grace, eebs, her friend from guelph, paulina, anika, nat, and teresa.
it was soo good seeing them all again! i haven't seen paulina, teresa or natalie since... christmas holidays? it's been a looong time. anyhow, so we first met up at second cup and just talked for an hour or two over italian sodas (mmm. peach), just catching up and laughing, etc. afterwards, nat and teresa had to go,, but the rest of us went to demetrie's where i had a "plump fiction" - a yummy ice-cream-strawberry-crepe sundae-ish thingy (which was kinda difficult to eat since i've never really used a knife with a bowl before). but man, it was yum. we hung around there for a while (being, as usual, snarky with regards to all the skanky girls in the restaurant) and just talked and joked around some more. afterwards, because anika really wanted to play some pool, we decided to walk to the squire and firkin pub to see if the table was free. it wasn't, but we ended up staying to - you guessed it, talk some more - over a pitcher of moosehead. you know, i've decided that i've been giving all beer a bad rap. not all beer is as disgusting as i thought it was. i actually quite like the moosehead (though don't worry, i'm not going to turn into an alkie... i only had one-and-a-half glasses and i'm still quite fearful of the asian red)... it's much better than that gross crap that my dad drinks. <<shudder>>
yeah, but it was really good just hanging out with the gang again. it's hard to meet up because everybody's schedule is really busy... or just ebru's... but we should really do this more often. (just not all the time, or else i'm going to get SO fat!) well, we're going to have to go to chinatown sometime for some dim sum, ok?
anyhow, i'm going to go to sleep now... i've got a full day tommorrow. having a "raisin" with boy genius in the afternoon, and then in the evening i'm going to paulina's (where i'll see everybody again!) it'll be lotsa fun!
