5-21-03 Ah, its been ages since I last updated this thing. I think everyone can relate to how hectic and busy everything's just been. Well So many things have happened over the past 2 weeks that its hard to remember everything, but here's theshot at it: On Saturday, May 10th, 2003, Lauren's dreams were fullfilled when she got to meet Shawn Micheals. That day, Me, Gibby, Fitzy and Lauren drove down to Baltimore for an autograph session with HBK held at the Rite Aid Health Convention. He was there endorsing Stackers 2 fat burner. Anyhow, When we first arrived, they had capped off the line, causing Lauren to go into a frenzied shock. While temporarily heart-broken, she stood by the line until they allowed us to get in line. While in line, Lauren was a s nervous as anyone can get. She was in such hysteria that she could barely stand on her own two feet. After only about an hour wait, she lived her dream of meeting the Shawn and showing him her ass. To clearify on that, highlights on that day were Lauren wearing her homemade HBK gear (she was showing Shawn her pants,) Fitzy getting a rather a t-shirt with a very provokative picture of the Heart-Break Kid on it. After that, the four of us went to the Inner Harbor for lunch, where Me and Gibby had some bad clams and oysters. Later that night, after dropping Lauren off, we picked up Mere for a nice relaxing Movie night at Gibby's, (it wasn't too quiet for long.) We watched Office Space, which wasn't as good as what everyone made it sound, and parts of American Pie. Also on this day, Shep and Pat wer in New York on their Chorus trip. On May 12th, we had both the AP Bio and AP Physics test. Later that night, me, Lauren, Pat, and Shep went to see Monday Night RAW. There, we saw a whole assemble of wrestlers which made all of our nights. Lauren got to see HBK again, Shep had his views of Stacy Keebler, I got to see Trish Stratus, and Pat got quite an interesting look at Ric Flair's backside. Afterwards, Shep's dad picked us up and Took us to Geno's for some cheesesteaks. Then on Friday, we had our choral concert. There, a few people trashed Matt Kennedy's car with silly string, which we did to Will D.'s car a bowling the following tuesday. Well, after the concert, me, Lauren, Mere, Sara, Pat, Huong, Jess, Dan, and Paris Nesbitt went to see the Matrix 2. On Saturday, May 17th, Huong lived her dream. Jess drove her down to Washington to meet Wyoming. If you don't know what that means, then you must have not talked to her lately. Anyhow, that night was also Gibby's Graduation Party. It was interesting to see that Jess and Huong, who were in D.C., arrived before Mere and Lauren did. Well that night, Mike King managed to take out a car playing horse shoes with Gibby's brother, and lots on pool playing went on. Lauren, showing her hidden dark sides, showed up Pat with various bets. While Lauren was a beast and was able to eat really spicy cheese as well as drink a mystery mix of like everything in the refrigerator. We apparently also made $25 from that too. Pat, however, wussily ate a few small peppers in a whole 10 minutes. Then on Tueday, May 20th, me, Mere, Lauren, and Pat were in school getting an education and then going to our Bowling party, where we played Mr. Pry and Mr. Grosso. There, it was a major bowlig battle between Mr. Pry and Mere, with her winning the first game, but him winning the second. Huong, Jess, Fitzy, and Gibby, however, went to Philly to do some campaigning with the mob. From what i got from it, Jess had nice mobs guys who fed her, Fitzy had cool guys who gave him lessons on how to treat women and was about to get him lobster for dinner, and Gibby had a bunch of mean ones who wouldn't let him stand in the shade because they didn't trust him. All-in-all, they all came back really sunburnt. I think that takes us back up to the present. If I missed any stories, just let me know and it will be added.
6-15-03 Yes, a LOT has happened since the last entry. On May 30th, i believe, we had our Senior Awards Night. As a Collective Group, we definitely made a killing. Congrats to Huong, Mere, and Kannie who got the Mendenhall Tyson Scholarships for $16,000, Gibby with his BEASTLY full-ride to Wharton, FItzy taking the Chem and Physics Awards which included monetary awards, Mike L, for the Scholarship Committee Scholarship, Lauren for the Aronimik Home and School Scholarship, Jess for her Class of 2003 Service Scholarship, and to me for my Mary McMinis Tharps Scholarship for $10,000. Yes, i definitely would say that we cleaned house, wouldn't u? Well on May 31st, we had our Senior Appreciation Day. WE got to see a rather INTERESTING (and at times rather DISTURBING) show. And i'll just leave it at that. Anyway, we also received our yearbooks and then had our senior picnic. Later that night we had a Pizza and a Movie Night. As usual, it took us forever pick a movie, but we ended up seeing Gremlins 2 and Drumline. Then on June 7th, we had our Senior Prom. It was a surreal night. There will be a more detailed page coming up soon fully dedicated to the Prom, so stay tuned for that. And then Finals Week came up. That was a bore and a waste of a few good days, so i will speak of it no more. Next was the series of parties that we had. Everyne seemed to be having a party, so we pretty much ran into each other every night. Mine was on Friday the 13th, Lauren's was on June 14th, and then Huong's was on June 16th. Mine was held at my house as usual, with the pizza and a movie night atmosphere to it, ( except being raped by a pig.) Lauren's was then a freak block party with her juke box music, dancing and spinning in the street, water fight, and can't forget being violated by little kids now. On a side note, i was then feasted on by mosquitoes sunday, so as a warning, never go to a park at dusk without but spray. Then Huong's party was at her aunt's Japanese restaurant Yamashiro's, which was really cool. Futher details will come later with pictures.
7-19-03 It's definitely been forover since i last made an entry or updated the site, so it's time to get started again. So lets see where i last left off. We graduated on June 17th, 2003. It was quite a memorable day. The graduation ceremony went very well overall. The weather was perfect. Mr. Gali seen mentioned most of us in his speech; most of us he had in the right categories, others (fitzy and his dancing and singing :P) weren't as accurate. But overall, it was a very happy and joyous day. If my memory serves me correctly, we then went to buy Senior Week stuff that afternoon. First, Huong, Jess, and I went to Granite Run so Huong could buy a rather kinkay swim suit. Afterwards, we met up with Gibby, Lauren, and Dan, and went food shopping. We then set off for Senior Week on June 18th. We All met up at Lauren's house, and from there, set off on our trip. It was an interesting 90 minute ride there, with Jess and Gibby not speeding or anything. Well if i remember correctly, in Jess' car it was me, Jess, Fitzy, and Lauren. And then in Gibby's car, it was Gibby, Huong, Dan, Meredith, and Lauren's complete wardrobe. Well we arrived in Ocean City around 1 pm, i think. We walked on the boardwalk and had pizza at Mach's and Manco's. We then checked into our rooms and did unpacking and whatnot. Some people then napped while others went to play on the beach, and then we all went out to dinner at some Italian place. We then returned to the rooms for the night where we hung out playing cards and whatnot. The next day the weather was a bit droopy, so we went to Atlantic City. We first parked and ate lunch at Ceasars and then went for a walk on the boardwalk there. Highlights include us finding some very interesting "toys" in some of the shops, half the group goign to get their fortunes read, and then the other half going to the arcade. Afterwards, the weather got a lot better, so we headed back to our place where we went swimming. Highlights of the beach include me sooooo calling fitzy falling face first into the water. We then returned to our rooms to clean up, and had dinner in our rooms with stuff we bought at the market. After dinner, we went minigolfing!!!!! Now we all know what happened, but to fill all the strangers in about it, we had a bet going on where the loser in each group had to get a henna tattoo of the winners' choosing. Well, Gibby and Jess lost. Gibby had to get a tattoo that read "Bad Girl." Highlights here include him getting it done in front of a bunch of like 8 year old girls who just kept laughing and pointing at him. Also, the girls at the store (the workers) got him this tiara to where while sitting in front of the display window, waiting for the tattoo to dry. Jess then had to get a Ottowa Senators tattoo. For those who don't know, they beat out the flyers in the playoffs and are pretty much hated in philly by all hockey fans. Also, after we left, we came back jokingly telling those girls that Dan just lost another bet, but this tattoo was required on the rear and if they could do it. Their reply, "ask that girl, she's the one that's going to have to put it on there." After so much fun, we jsut returned to out rooms for some fun. Friday was another rainy ugly day. We wondered the boardwalk in the morning and in the afternoonish, we went to get an old-time photo taken together. This was quite interesting. Well first we had to come back at a later time becasue they were having camera problems. But when we did, we took our picture. Highlights here include Jess dressing as a guy while EVERYONE else were dressed as girls. More highlights include pat running around complaining that he was "flat," gibby mounting a horse saddle, lauren holding a big liqour bottle, me showing off a litle too much skin that the photographer had to cover me up, and meredith complaining about her fishnet stocking and how some of the guys had better legs than her. After the photo was taken, the group was confronted by a bunch of religious guys asked to do a survey. From what i recall, fitzy got into a small arguement with them over philosophy and whatnot. But after that, pat and shep left for their other senior week, the rest of the group having dinner at the Point Diner, and then us going to the movies at this rundown theatre to see "Hollywood Homocide," which was horrible. Then back to our rooms for more fun. On Saturday, lauren decided to stay with us until sunday when we'd take her to Wildwood. Meredith then had to leave that afternoon. So in the morning, we all went to the beach, where it was freakin' freezing. Highlights include huong, the only person i know as to have a blanket on the beach over her, us playing cards, and lauren going to swim in the foam. Afterwards, we all (except for gibby, the bad girl) went on the ferris wheel. After that, meredith and lauren went on the mini coaster thingy. Next me and jess went boardwalk shopping while the rest remained on the beach. Now i had both keys to both rooms, and not my cell phone. Now like an hour or two later while at the other end of the boardwalk, i realize this. Now afraid that meredith wa locked out and couldn't get her stuff to leave, i ran the 2 miles back to our room full sprint. Yes, i actually physically exerted myself, just for meredith, so be grateful. WHen i got back though, i was happy to see that gang had gotten the landlord to let them in earlier to do some "cleaning up" before meredith's family arrived. I next had to run back down the boarkwalk to find Jess where i left her. After the incident, we all went to dinner at this place called the "Island Grill." (If you're wondering how i remember its name, i didn't. I have their business card for future visits :P) Well, this place served the most interesting of food. Gibby had the lobster tail, lauren and i had the kangaroo (yes, i'm serious,) fitzy had the antelope, dan had the bison, and jess had a burger, (yea, jess and gibby wimping out!!!) We all also had fried alligator as an appetizer. It was actually really good. We're going ot have to go back there some time. After that we went and rented "Being John Malkovich" and had some more fun by amusing ourselves in our rooms. On sunday, we checked out of our rooms. We then had brunch at the Point Diner, and then continued onto Wildwood. There, we dropped off lauren at her new house, which was so much better than our place, even though i wouldn't change it now because we had so much fun there. But after bidding farewell to lauren, we went on over to the boardwalk there and to Morrey's Pier. The majority of the group decided to leave first in gibby's car, so we returned to the cars. Now while moving luggage from jess' car to gibby's, she forgets her keys and locks them in her trunk. So right after gibby leaves, he has to turn back around to asist us. Now gibby saves the day with his AAA membership by calling for help. About 40 minutes later, the locksmith shows up and has the trunk open in no time at all. Gibby then leaves. After that, jess and i head on over to Cape May, where we drive around, walked around, and walked on the beach. We then returned home that night. This then concludes the best senior week trip ever. Lauren can back me up by saying that, as well as everyone else there. In the next few weeks or so, the group slowly went their way. First to go was Jess heading off to summer session at PennState. When Meredith returned from Mass., she left again shortly for England. I then headed off to Florida. Next people started to head off to college for orientation, which cued the start of everyone actually starting college. Soon the fall will come, where everyone will heading their separate ways: Huong-Standford, Fitzy-U. of Chicago, Mere and Jess-PennState, Lauren-Millersville, Dan- West Chester, Gibby-Wharton, Steve (Me)-Temple, Mike L.-Drexel, Pat-army, Shep-DCCC, and Sara-UDHS. Even though we're all going our separate ways, we'll always be together in spirit.
