SOMEHOW DISABUSED
SOMEHOW DISABUSED
Artists on a Windy Day
12:00 AM

This is an outside scene. The proscenium figures a cliff and Judith is sitting on its edge. The sign Evil Kid 1 used at the end of the 12:00 pm scene is leaning on something that could be a rock. A "sold" sticker was affixed on it. We hear the sound of the waves as they reach the cliff, and the wind. Jeremy gets out of the house. He has two glass of wine in his hands. He slowly moves toward Judith and sits beside her. One of his carnets is already there.

JEREMY
I think he'll do fine on that wall.

JUDITH
Yep.

JEREMY
Happy?

JUDITH
Yes. A lot. It is strange to hear those sounds - instead of, you know...

JEREMY
It's a little bit like tasting a new sour candy and having your tongue fooled for it's using unusual spaces of its surface.

JUDITH
Can a man get any wiser?

JEREMY
I thought about it all day, no credit.

         He handles his carnet.

JUDITH, she stands up
There's boat coming. (She pauses.) Listen...

         Silence.

JEREMY
What does it says?

JUDITH, enjoyed
What's that?

                                           We hear a boat siren.

                                  JEREMY
The wind; what does it says?

JUDITH, she pauses, and takes a couple of deep breath
                                  You tell me.

                                  JEREMY
                                  Love you Jud.

We hear the boat getting closer.

                                  JUDITH, looking at the boat
                                  Wait... tell me... now;

                                           We hear the boat siren.

                                  JEREMY
                                  You're beautiful.

                                  toward the 1:00 am scene
