Part 2 through 5 of this scene are set in the rented car.
Jeremy's driving. There's a lot of traffic and the bi-figurers should figure that out for a time. Then they or some of them should become 'executioners' and change the clock setting, by pulling the rope, to 12h10
The conversation is already started:
JUDITH
All I'm saying is that you've changed your mind so many times that a bell should rings, somewhere over there: hey, it's not your thing.
JEREMY
I did not change my mind. If you were listening to me, you'd see it's all linked.
JUDITH
From baseball magical moment's spirit to - parapapam, my breast! All linked...
JEREMY
Seeing those amateurs dreaming more than playing on the field had me realized that they were something magical about simple plays too... We see them so often that we forget that... That well hit fly ball over the first baseman's head... bouncing at the outfielder's fett - the runner has to stop... but for a moment... the crowd thought he was going for two... a moment... that's magical too... you see?
JUDITH
That still doesn't explain my breast and that hand.
JEREMY
Then I met mister Letwich...
JUDITH
Aren't catchers those belly guys, all crouched behind the plate, anyway?
JEREMY
No, no - youère having old pictures at mind.
JUDITH
Yes, as a matter of fact, I'm a big fan of old school baseball - this - all I'm saying is that this has nothing to do with art -
JEREMY
It has. It will.
JUDITH
You're in doubt.
The conversation continues but we can't hear them anymore. We're hearing the wind, though. Again, the bi-figurers come on stage to figure the traffic. It is less important than on the first occasion. As well, they become 'executioners' after some time, and change the clock setting, by pulling the rope, to 12:25.
