| MEMORIES As I watch the water and the brine I recall your face, your lips like wine, Your eyes like pools that drew me in, That cute little dimple on your chin. Oh what wonderful memories to hold Neath the warm summer sun or the winter so cold. As I touch the sand it feels so fine I remember the day you said you were mine On this very beach we spoke of our love Our only witness , the gulls above Oh what wonderful memories to hold As my mind wanders I let it unfold As I let the sand trickle through my fingers I remember your kiss, oh how it lingers, Lost in each others arms we stood Gave our hearts to each other and vowed to be good. Oh what wonderful memories to hold, Alone on the beach with it's grains of gold Sue Cooper |
