ITAL Logistics was founded in August 2000, as a partnership between myself and Mediterranean & Red Sea specialists, Cardinal Maritime. Its original aim was to provide a quality, reliable and personalised service to and from Italy. Having been involved in the Italian market for almost a decade and a half, and whilst developing the knowledge of the market, I felt the need for a specialist who was not just competent in its ability to provide high quality logistics, but who also considered each client’s individual requirements.

Such consideration is one of the essential ingredients, as not all customers require the same structure of service. It is important to offer a bespoke service to each and every client, be it the ‘one-man band’ or the conglomerate. ITAL Logistics will do this. Apart from having the right people in the company, we consider that the second most vital ingredient is appointing the right correspondents who share the same philosophy.

Being located in Manchester does not restrict ITAL Logistics to the North West, as with receiving depots also in the Midlands and the South, we are able to provide complete coverage of the UK, including mainland Scotland.

Whilst maintaining our specialisation in the Italian market, in May 2002, we commenced new services with Spain and Portugal, both export and import. The agents with whom we are working in these new ventures are also the agents working with our Italian partners. Connected in this way goes a long way to cement our philosophies throughout our services in that we aim to provide high quality personalised services that can be relied upon to meet our clients’ requirements. ITAL Logistics can also provide freight forwarding services worldwide, thereby providing a complete logistical solution, by road, sea, rail or air.

There is nothing pretentious about ITAL Logistics We aim to provide a reliable service to the very best of our abilities, and we will endeavour to do just that. The only way to evaluate for yourself is to sample our service!
