| 12-6-03 Post By: Chip I received an e-mail from Craig of Black Magic Crossing informing me that he updated his site with his own pictures from the Geffen Records signing party. There are even pics from inside the limo so take a few minutes and check those out. Rumor has it that Hush will be putting on a show in December at Alvin's, but as of right now that is purely speculation. Rumor also has it that Hush is busy in the studio right now preparing material for his major label debut. In other news Hush will be featured on T.a. Guerrero's upcoming compilation CD entitled "Disrapish"...the track will be "Detroit Rock City" featuring Paradime and Kon Artis (of D-12). Hush has also lent his vocal talents and production skills to a song called "Hella Broke" off of T.a.'s upcoming record, but don't expect that to be released until 2005. | 12-22-03 Post By: Chip Saturday the 20th was a Hush street team meeting to talk about future plans. Anyone who's on the street team who didn't show up should re-consider for next time cause it was a good time. I'ma let you all know what was discussed at the meeting: 1) "Hollywood" will not make it onto Hush's Geffen debut, it was solely meant for the single he released in August. If you have it, cherish it. 2) There will be limited edition Hush hockey jerseys, 100 home and 100 away. Each will be numbered 1-99 and once they're gone they're gone. They will have high quality patches on the chest and shoulders. Hush has #1 in both reserved for him. 3) Hush's debut will most likely be released in late spring 2004. There may or may not be a limited edition DVD to accompany it. 4) "Parents Anthem" will never see a release. Hush hates that song LOL. 5) If you haven't for some reason already, go pick up Roses & Razorblades!!! There were 7,000 made and over 6,000 units have been sold since it's release. Once this last batch of CDs are gone they will become collector's items for sure. That's about it for now. | 1-26-04 Post By: Chip News is beginning to pick up a bit. Hush FINALLY made some type of public statement...we haven't heard from him since his update at his site on 10-26-03. But over at the Hush board he made a post and you can view it here. Hush was featured on 101 WRIF's Motor City Riffs show on January 18th, on the show he played the new version of "Adrenaline". Mutha was able to record it and hook it up as an mp3 so you can check that out by right-clicking and saving target as: "Adrenaline". Many props to Mutha! Look out for a compilation CD to hit the net and the streets of Detroit this spring/summer on NO DEAL Records featuring The United Rock Stars of Detroit (Local 313)...artists to be on this comp are Hush, Black Magic Crossing, and Spider In A Jar just to name a few...the CD will only cost you a measly $3.00...more info will be posted on it as soon as it comes available. |
