There's some news from Dan Casey that he e-mailed me about...Hush was awarded "Best Original Score" for
The Passage at the Bare Bones Independent Film Festival.  For more info on "The Passage" and even a trailer click the above link.  Also, the videos Hush shot for the Pistons will air before every game on Fox Sports Net.  There will be both a home video and an away video.  The road video will debut on October 31st and the home video will debut on November 5th, both at 7:30 PM...so keep your eyes peeled for that!

Saturday night, November 22nd, was an invite-only party for Hush at Alvin's to celebrate Hush's signing to Geffen Records.  There to celebrate and congratulate Hush were Mike E. Clark, Krown P Camp, Shane Capone, Uncle Ill, the Detroit Choppers crew, among others.  Throughout the night Hush performed songs, much of it new material like "Fade Away", "24 Hours", "Adrenaline", as well as "Detroit Players" with Shane Capone and Cadillac Dale, "Roses & Razorblades", and by request from Ma Dukes "I'll Miss You".  Quite possibly the show stealer was Cadillac Dale's freestyle when Hush put him on the spot!  There were presentations throughout the night and a special toast to Hush to wish him luck in the future.  Check the pictures section to see some of the pics I took from the night.  Also in site news I have been adding new CDs that have come to my attention that feature either Hush or Da Ruckus in the discography section and I'd like to give props to Randall for some of the help with that.  Visiting this site is cool enough of anyone and anyone who is down to hook me up with info/pics/whatever means a lot :)  Peace.

I received an e-mail from Craig of Black Magic Crossing informing me that he updated
his site with his own pictures from the Geffen Records signing party.  There are even pics from inside the limo so take a few minutes and check those out.  Rumor has it that Hush will be putting on a show in December at Alvin's, but as of right now that is purely speculation.  Rumor also has it that Hush is busy in the studio right now preparing material for his major label debut.  In other news Hush will be featured on T.a. Guerrero's upcoming compilation CD entitled "Disrapish"...the track will be "Detroit Rock City" featuring Paradime and Kon Artis (of D-12).  Hush has also lent his vocal talents and production skills to a song called "Hella Broke" off of T.a.'s upcoming record, but don't expect that to be released until 2005.  That's all the news for now...everyone take care.
