Pheonix Rising
total destruction everything lay flat burnt stumps of gutted buildings stood like monks
silent and sombre
a pile of ashes smoldering and glowing embers are all that's left of the once magnificence
once golden and supreme
as we watched and wandered tears washing our sooty faces we heard an ear peircing shriek mournful and filled with anger
it called to us, we follwed
then we were enlightened first hand reincarnation born of fire and fury it rose like ths sun
wing of gold and might
blinding light, searing heat dried our tears and rekindled our hope pushing on air, it rose never to be seen again
never again will despair

Outcast
to be an outcast to live out side of society is okay i kind of like it here
to sit and watch as the stream of society rushes by babbling forever never a still moment
i like to sit by myslef and watch the blur of the in crowd as they flow by always cool
i like to put my feet in the water, clear as glass and watch as it has no effect on the current
as some one said life is too fast and if you don't sit back your going to miss it

Corruption
i have no face i am nameless i am a body of darkness that cannot be detected
i curl my knarled vines around the hearts of honest men and choke out the innocence that made them fathers, husbands, sons
i have dominion over all no one is safe from me from babes in playpens to of men of experience
i enter the mind through temptation and darken the soul my host becomes polluted with unholy thoughts
i am unexpected i ruin lives and sadden hearts i am never ending eternal

From summer to school
summer is over red and yellow leaves signals the end of fun and the beginning of school
the caretaker oils the old bell walls are paited, desks repaired blackboards cleared their ebony faces blank
boxes of chalk, piled high in the store room apprehension cackles through the long empty halls
the day has come starch white shirts polished buttons shine dark trousers to the ankle
they all set out dragging each foot along reluctance is the anchor whish slows ships sailing
soon the rooms are filled youngsters settled slates clean and ready for the first day's classes
**this is englished based- my country does not experince autumn but we do have school uniforms.

Time is of the Essence
time is of the essence said the father to his son it's not long before the laces of reality become undone
love every living moment don't let any of it go to waste be aware of every minute don't lose any in your haste
you love you laugh you live you learn something new everyday everyything's a new exeperience to help you fond your way
the idle beast is waiting gobbling up every drop of time you carelessly throw away of time you unkowingly give up
time is of the essence said the father to his child it's not long before the strings of time become twisted and wild

Aye Shalan Aye
shalan abanya is my name, remember it you shall knw why when fate tells you
born of the earth i wander far and wide with destiny, the wind always at my back
nature is my mother the dry wind my father, he touches my face, whistles my name as i sleep under the stars
the past is forgotten the future unknown but soon you shall know me for i be shalan abanya

The hills of Nor
far over the hills the hills of legend and lore over the hills of magic beyond the hills of nor
crowned with clouds of veltet mist as seen from far away shore draped with purple robes of sunset the majestic hills of nor
the stuff of dreams and fairy tales of knights and dragon's roar that chills the heart of many on the omnious hills of nor
that night we pledged our love again to last forever more on the great big old oak at the foot of the hills of nor
and now memories flood back and move me to the core of once my home. my secret place my beautiful hills of nor
**my fav, my fav** |

Noise
a din, a sound you make a mark to spoil your quiet to ring your ears no matter how you try hard to deny it
it's here, there, everywhere at home and at your school teachers talking to the class children playing the fool
it's a special kind of pollution one you cannot see but it's there, hanging all around made by you and me
noise, a blessing and a curse that we can choose not to endever and though we like it or not will be with us forever
