Open day pics Manfeild 09/06/02
These pics are from the track days that my friends and I have competed in this year. For more information about the track where they take place click here. Note that these are road cars NOT race cars and these open days are a chance for the general public to drive their road car on a proper track. These pics are quite big and therefore may take a while to load.
This pic shows the 1980 VW Golf GTI about to pass the 2002 VX Holden SS. The SS is a 5.7l 305bhp 6-speed V8 (also note the number plate). Only one thing can explain this, HANDLING!
This pics shows what happens when a car meets semi-solid object. In this case damage is only cosmetic but I witnessed the accident (from the car behind) and it could have been much worse.
