The Quezonians of Northern California, Inc.

The Quezonians of Northern California, Inc., a solid and dynamic non-stock, non-participating, non-profit organization, was registered in the State of California on August 8, 1987. It was founded on the humanitarian philosophy of service to fellowmen and the neighborliness attitude of caring, sharing, and camaraderie. The primary purpose is to serve and fill the needs of fellow Quezonians as well as "Kababayans" back home.

The Quezonians launch numerous annual activities such as Dinner and Dance, solicitation of advertisements for publication to the souvenir program, chartered trips to Reno, Nevada, selling raffle tickets, annual membership drive, and solicitation of donations from private individuals and business entities. These activities are conducted only with a prime purpose of helping others through scholarships, assisting victims of various natural calamities in the Philippines, providing aids to member families, and supporting other worthwhile community related projects.

From 1987, the association through the outstanding efforts of its officers and members has provided scholarship grants to less privileged students in Quezon Province to pursue a college education. To uplift the standard of the scholarship program, the association in cooperation with the Manuel S. Enverga Foundation University in Lucena City and the Polytechnic University of the Philippines in Lopez, Quezon has established criteria for admission to the program and grade requirements to be maintained by the scholars. In addition to the many scholars who have already graduated from college and are now working.  See our scholars page to view a current list of scholarship awardees and scholars.
