History:

The Doctor was treating King Edward for depression and had determined that nothing could be done to save the king of Daventry by the time that Sir Graham returned from his quest. Moments before Graham entered the throne room, he was heard to say "If only Sir Graham had returned with the Three Lost Treasures of Daventry." He then bore witness as Graham deposited the three treasures next to the throne. More importantly, still, he saw King Edward stand to examine the treasures, and then collapse onto the ground. It was the Doctor who pronounced the old king dead, then took the Crown of Daventry from the floor and placed it upon Graham's head. As King Edward had wanted, Graham was then declared king by the most authoritative person present; the Doctor.
