This fingerprint door lock incorporates the proven technology. Fingerprint scanning is the most mature and tested type of biometric technology. Recent studies on biometrics have shown that compared to the hand method, fingerprint is more accurate and cost-effective. Biometric security guarantees a positive method of user identification with something that cannot be lost, replicated or stolen. CVE utilizes only the latest, proven biometric technologies, and manufactures its own line of fingerprint door lock products in order to ensure quality and value.

ANSI UL Grade 1 Heavy-Duty - This door lock is sturdy in its appearance and solid in its performance. The lock is always locked from outside and free to exit from inside. (Storeroom function)
Very weather resistant:
Operates from -4�F to 140�F (20�C to 60�C).
This lock is battery-operated. Powered by 8 AA Size Alkaline batteries, the lock can be operated for up to a year with 10 uses per day. The Lock will also give you a warning to change the batteries via its voice prompt. User-Friendly: Fingerprint enrollment is quick and easy. You can add or delete users easily. The lock has a voice ushering feature which will guide you when you�re using the lock. For example, it will say, �Registration complete,� when you have successfully added a user. The also has the sensor light and buzzer sound indicators. For example, once the lock verifies a fingerprint, the light turns on and off, and a buzzer will sound. After the buzzer sounds the lock may be opened. Fast: It takes less than 1 second to verify the fingerprint and unlock. Flexibility: There three ways of unlocking: Fingerprint, User Access Code (PIN) or Emergency Magnetic Key. Also, this lock gives you a choice between the two authentication methods: 1:N Identification and 1:1 verification. When the lock is operating in the free scan mode, it uses the identification method, which requires just the fingerprint identification to unlock (no cards, keys, or even PINs required!). When the lock is in the ID scan mode, it uses the verification method, which requires you to give your ID (User Access Code) in addition to your fingerprint to verify that it�s you and unlock. Capacity: The lock allows you to enroll up to 100 fingerprints when it�s operating in the free scan mode, and up to 1000 fingerprints in the ID scan mode. Audit Trail Option: The lock�s less expnsive Data Kit includes the cable and audit trail software, allowing you to connect the lock to your PC and download the last 800 events. (See options below). The full Data Kit comes with the a small fingerprint reader in addition to the cable and audit trail software, and enables you to enroll users on the PC. (See options below). Using this software kit opens up great possibilities for using more that one of these locks. For instance: If you have many locks and want them all with the same programming then you can program one lock then use that locks' programming as the template for all the others. Versatile: This lock is suited for use in many markets: the front, back, side, or garage doors of private homes, business/professional offices, retail stock rooms, warehouses, and food storage lockers.
